I take a "360" approach to help organizations and individuals clarify their messages, refine their value propositions, and develop their voices. Together, we create dynamic structures that catalyze readers’ emotional transformations and motivate them to implement change. I collaborate with clients’ publicists, brand managers, marketing managers, and web developers to create narratives that increase engagement and impact.
I also develop nonfiction books and guide accompanying platform-building projects. I consult with authors early in the writing process to identify if their goals are best served by writing a book or whether other intellectual property, such as a podcast or course, is the best next step. I enjoy long-lasting client relationships and have worked with several to create articles, pitch documents, talks, and workshops to support their book launches.
My own writing has appeared in Elle, Investor’s Business Daily, and The Liberty Project, and my screenwriting has won the Austin Film Festival and placements in other fellowships and competitions, including the Warner Bros. TV Writers Workshop. I’ve helped clients successfully pitch and publish pieces in mindbodygreen, Spirituality & Health, PsychCentral, and others, and have worked with their publicists to secure placements in Fast Company, Inc., and other first-tier publications. I currently make my home in mid-city Los Angeles with a book-loving (and eating) terrier.
